Active hope

Young people are the ones who will have to adapt the most to the effects of climate change. Many are feeling anxious about an increasingly uncertain future. We support youth groups in making sense of the complexity of the climate crisis and empower them to turn hopelessness into meaningful action.

An international study conducted in ten countries and published in the renowned scientific journal The Lancet reveals that three-quarters of young people aged 16 to 25 believe humanity is doomed in the face of climate change. Many report feelings of sadness, fear, and powerlessness.

At the TransformAction Lab, we help young people make sense of the current socio-ecological issues, express their feelings about the future, and develop their capacity for action (empowerment, agency). We offer a range of activities designed to foster individual and collective resilience with empathy and kindness, drawing on nearly ten years of experience working with the psychological, social, and cultural dimensions of the climate crisis.
